Then State Committee Member, outsted from Congress, Was Janatha Party District Committee Member in 1977, State Executive Committee Member and National Council Member(1980); District Vice- President (1981); Was District Vice President, State Executive Member and National Council Member of Janatha Dal. Actively participated in various trade Union activities and Office bearer of many trade union organisations; Was Chairman, Angamaly Municipality( 1989-90).

God’s Sake’; Kerala State Film Development Corporation Director Board Member (1987-91); Noted Film Critic and writes articles on films in periodicals.
